SEDALIA, Mo. — The Missouri State Fair Commission unanimously decided on Monday to permanently ban the rodeo clown who wore a mask resembling Barack Obama over the weekend during a show at the fair.

The move came after Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe reported to the commission on the ‘unacceptable behavior’ during the Missouri Rodeo Cowboys Associations Final Rodeo.

The commission also determined that before the Missouri State Fair considers contracting with the association, they must provide evidence to the fair director that the participants have had sensitivity training.

The stunt lead to some severe backlash on social media, many commenters on the MSF’s Facebook page were outraged and said it reflected poorly on Missouri as a state.
